FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Why the emphasis on cereal-grain crops - aren’t grains animal feeds?

Perceiving grains as only animal feeds is a distorted, misinformed view which ignores history and modern dietetic knowledge and health-wisdom. Grains remain today as they have been for more than 10,000 years, one of the important keys to healthy human well-being. Show me more on Grain as Food.

Are grains hard to grow?

No, growing grains is actually easier than growing vegetables. Growing your own grain requires much less land than you might think. In just the space of a two-car garage and its driveway (1,000 sq.ft.), you can produce enough grain to bake two loaves of bread every week for the entire year.
